Wedding Procedure

So you've got a date, booked the venue and perhaps even sent out save the date cards! Organising weddings are both stressful & enjoyable at the same time, with so much to plan and remember.

When you book me for your wedding photographer there is little worry for you to consider. All that will be required for me prior to your wedding day is that we have a short consultation (usually within one month of the wedding date) with regards to specific requirements and plans i.e. if there are any shots that your would personally require, any special event taking place during the day and the general plans (and times) for the whole day. I do not even require a deposit or payment up-front, unless of course it suits you better.

I simply turn up at your wedding at the pre-arranged time and start to fire away!

I usually remain fairly in-conspicuous for the whole day, taking shots in a reportage / candid fashion. However all I ask is that I can have at least 30 mins (approx) for those essential formal photographs (yes the ones with the mother-in-law too!).

I will usually stay at your wedding up until the first dance or until I feel I have captured the essence of the evening (usually drunken dad's dancing time).

The total number of photographs varies but expect to see about 100-150 edited photos. Please bear in mind that I am only one person and although I am sometimes seen running about, I can usually only be in one place at one time!
My partner will be assisting me on the day (she has a more assertive voice for those un-organised family formals!), however she does not photograph.

It will take me approximately 1 month to process and edit your photographs after your wedding (yep its hard and precise work!) I will be in contact once they are competed and usually post the web slide-show first. Payment can also be made up to 1 month after your wedding, but I will not release any photographs or arrange albums until payment is received.

Following the completion of the images, I will be required to consult with you again with regards to which images you would like in your album (only limited to approx 70 photographs / album)...assuming you will choose to have one of my beautiful albums...
